I purchased these for my parents upcoming visit to my home. It would be easy for them to navigate at night. They give off good lighting in the dark. It might be too bright for some, but it helps at night when you do not have your glasses on. I don't trip or bump into anything in the middle of the night anymore. I like that they turn on when it's dark, and shut off when it's light on their own. I have one in my living room as well.
